Patients abandoned intake on the commute. The original app asked for everything up front and failed quietly on poor connections.
Approach
We split intake into moments that match the visit, saved progress locally, and used plain language instead of clinic jargon. Design and engineering sat in the same review so the offline path was real.
Outcome
Completed intakes rose, and front-desk staff stopped reprinting paper forms “just in case.”
